Arrive by car from the South

• Take the exit towards Worthy Down
• Head towards the A272, merge onto the A34
• At Windlebury Interchange, take the exit onto the M40(Midlands)
• Merge onto the M42
• Take the M5(N) exit towards Birmingham(M6)
• Take the M6 exit towards Walsall/Wolverhampton 
• Head towards the M54, Wolverhampton A449
• Stay on the A449 until you reach Dunstall Park; from the A449, Dunstall Park is comprehensively sign-posted 

The journey by car from the South will take approximately 2 hours and thirty minutes.

Arrive by car from the North

• Head towards the Tyne Bridge A167
• Keep on the A167 and exit onto Park Lane A194 to South Shields/Durham
• At White Mare Pool Interchange, take the third exit onto A194(M)
• Merge onto A1(M)
• Continue on A1(M) signs for Red Hse M18
• At junction 35, take the M18 exit to Sheffield M180
• Merge onto the M18,
• Take the exit to Nottingham M1
• From the M1, head towards Matlock A165
• Head towards the A38; stay on the A38 until you reach the A5148 towards Birmingham
• From Birmingham, turn onto the M6 toll(N)
• From the M6 merge onto the M54

The journey by car from the North will take approximately three hours and fifty-five minutes. Free car parking spaces are available at the course; it would be worthwhile to phone or email to confirm parking availability.  

Arrive by Train

Euston station in London to Wolverhampton train station takes approximately two hours and twenty-five minutes. Fifty-seven trains per day travel from London Euston to Wolverhampton, and tickets for this journey start from £8 when you book in advance. The distance between the two cities is 113 miles or (182 KM).

From Newcastle Station to Wolverhampton takes three hours and thirty-two minutes. Seventeen trains a day travel from Newcastle to Wolverhampton, and the average ticket price is £135. The nearest airport to Wolverhampton Racecourse is Birmingham Airport (BHX), which is 28 miles from the venue.

Hospitality Enclosure

For racegoers, Wolverhampton Racecourse offers a choice of the Premier Enclosure and the Grandstand Enclosure. Admission to the Premier Enclosure costs £25 on boxing day, £20 on Saturday evenings, £15 on midweek and weekend afternoons between February and December and just £5 during January.

The view is seamless and overlooks the final furlong (200 yards); the Grandstand enclosure has excellent bars and some food outlets the spectators can enjoy. 

What to Wear?

Premier Enclosure

As you would expect, the Premier enclosure has a much more formal dress code; gentlemen are expected to wear a collared shirt, jacket and tie.

Ladies can wear smart casual dresses. On specific dates and in certain venues, however, jeans and trainers (as long as they are nice and presentable) are allowed in this enclosure.  Ticket holders are asked to appear in more formal costumes. 

Grandstand Enclosure

The Grandstand enclosure is the most relaxed, with a casual dress code and fancy dress acceptable.
