Meet The Team At Racing Club

Our History
The foundations of Racing Club are built on great friendship, shared experiences, and a passion for horse racing. It began with a gathering of exceptional individuals, each bringing unique experiences, global networks, and a winning spirit. TV personality and bestselling author Jordan Wylie MBE and Cheltenham festival-winning trainer Jamie Snowden, who formed a bond over 20 years of military service, are central to this group.

Their paths crossed with Gary Gillies, an RAF veteran and successful entrepreneur in affiliate sports marketing and gaming, who brought his passion for horse racing to the team. Darren Colebrook, a marketing and advertising professional with a global perspective, joined them, enhancing their vision with his industry expertise.

Completing the team is Richard Jaques, a veteran in the horse racing industry with over two decades of experience in Brand, PR, Sponsorship, and marketing strategy for major brands. Together, these friends realized their collective talents and dedication could form the foundation of an exceptional project, and thus, Racing Club was born.

We have assembled a team of individuals from a variety of backgrounds, each bringing forth unique perspectives and skills to our community.
Gary Gillies
Gary Gillies
Gary Gillies is one of our founders and investors with a global business portfolio in the affiliate sports marketing and gaming world. Gary has always had a love for racehorses and has had great success on the track too over the years. An incredibly successful entrepreneur, keen golfer, football fan with a passion for high performance sports cars too!
Richard Jaques
Richard Jaques
Richard has worked in PR and Sponsorship roles focussing on some of the biggest racedays in the UK and also had a lengthy spell at The Jockey Club overseeing Marketing for Epsom Downs, Kempton Park and Sandown Park Racecourses. Away from work Richard puts himself through the mill following Sunderland AFC and Durham CCC and for added stress an occasional round of golf.
Fredrika Sommarlund
Fredrika Sommarlund
Freddie has always had a passion for horses and has ridden since she was a young girl. She has worked in the racing industry for six years, gaining valuable experience and making unforgettable memories. Excited for her new role as the Social Media Manager for Racing Club, she is looking forward to the challenge it offers. In her free time, Fredrika enjoys coaching CrossFit and loves exploring the English countryside.
Molly Smith
Molly Smith
Molly is a powerhouse in many areas, and as the Racing Club secretary & HR director, she excels in fostering a supportive work environment for all our hard-working team. Alongside her thriving career, Molly is a devoted mother who cherishes quality time with her children. She also loves fitness and is a passionate racegoer who loves nothing more than getting dressed up for a glitzy and glamorous day at the races with friends.
Tom Aldridge
Tom Aldridge
Tom has been involved in racing from a young age, after being introduced to it by his Grandad. Since gaining a Sports Studies degree, he’s worked in the racing industry for the last six years and his passion for the sport is second to none. He can often be found at a racecourse, with his preference being his local, Newbury racecourse. Away from racing, Tom is an avid Tottenham supporter for his sins and is partial to a bet or two on any sport!
